MICROWAVE
- In a large bowl, combine mix with butter. Add eggs, 1⁄4 cup milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined. Scrape into oiled Square Steamer.
- Microwave, uncovered, on high 4 min. Rest in pan for 6 min and unmold. Cool before serving.
OVEN
- Preheat oven to 350˚ F.
- In a large bowl, combine mix with butter. Add eggs, 2 tbsp milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined. Scrape into oiled Square Steamer.
- Bake 20–25 min, or until toothpick comes out mostly clean, with a few crumbs on it. Cool in pan before serving.
Stir 1⁄4 cup walnuts or chocolate chips into batter.
Swap different extracts for vanilla—try peppermint, orange, or cherry extract!
For an easy-to-prepare icing, melt chocolate chips and pour over warm brownies. When they cool, the brownies will have a smooth, chocolate glaze.
